Sophie's Story...
Sophie is a beautiful girl with a huge zest for life and for love. Sophie is a young girl, about a 2yo, and she found herself turned into a high kill shelter in Philadelphia. Sophie had come to the shelter and her whole world had changed, and it was about to change even more. While in the shelter, Sophie gave birth to puppies. She and her 2 day old puppies were facing being euthanized when we took this young family in. Sophie is an incredible Mom and she is the sweetest girl you ever met! She loves attention and she absolutely loves to play. She needs some work with obedience as she gets very excited and she will jump on you. She is well mannered with her toys and her food and she loves getting belly rubs and chewing her bone. Sophie's puppies have since been adopted. She is great with kids of all ages. She just wants to be loved. Sophie is a small girl and weighs around 45 lbs.. After all that she had been though her foster Mom noticed her holding her leg up. She had a trip to the Vet and found out she had a torn ACL. Zoe's house and a lot of great ppl helped her get the surgery that she needed. So now she is set for her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Sinking Spring Pit Bull Terrier/Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boston Terrier for sale in Sinking Spring, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Sinking Spring.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sinking Spring already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sinking Spring breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boston Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sinking Spring paves the way for another one to be saved.
