Terra's Story...
Terra was found as a stray dog with her 3, 6 week old puppies living under a trailer on some vacant land in a rural area. People living nearby said they did not want her. Terra and her three puppies were taken to a vet to be examined and found to be in good health. The examining vet thought Terra was about 1 ½ years of age. Meet me at Unleashed in Scripps Ranch Sunday 11-4

This little 8 lb black terrier mix is a real gem as she is very calm and quiet. She loves to cuddle and be close to a person. She is house trained and comes when you call her name. Terra is a bit shy when she first meets a person, but as she gets to know a person she is very friendly. She likes children, both men and women, and other dogs. Basically she is one sweet dog who will make a wonderful companion pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Terra, a Ft. Bragg Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Maltese for sale in Ft. Bragg, or seeking a Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Maltese dog from a breeder in Ft. Bragg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Bragg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Bragg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Maltese breeders who help with Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Bragg paves the way for another one to be saved.
