Star's Story...
Star is a mature gal but don't tell her that! She is young at heart and would make a perfect companion dog. She loves attention and she gets excited the minute you walk in. She may be a little unsure at first but she warms up quickly. She enjoys exploring new places and she is very inquisitive. She likes to watch TV (see photo) and her favorite channels are The Food Network and Animal Planet. She is good with kids, cats, and other dogs. She could care less about toys and only needs your love and affection. She likes going for long walks and although she can run like the wind, is not a real high energy girl. She doesn't bark and enjoys being around people. She is also 100% house trained. Would you like to have Star as your best friend? Email to learn more about her. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped and current on flea and heartworm preventative. She is being fostered in Scottsboro, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Star, a Marietta German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Marietta, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
