Texas Jack's Story...
AAE took in this handsome palomino in early November 2012 from a nearby county animal control department that needed to place some of the animals in its care. He came in with two similar Paso Fino (or PF-x) mares, but his breed is not known. Due to the circumstances, little is known about him, although a recent dental on Tex indicated he is about 16 years old. He stands about 13.1hh. He has very good ground manners, and has carried a rider, but he seemed a bit rusty, or he may not have had significant training. Texas Jack is dominant in the herd and will chase/challenge new herd members. It does not appear he would be suitable as a companion or pasturemate to a senior or compromised horse. He will need an advance rider to continue his progress. Visit our website for more info:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Texas Jack, a El Dorado Hills Paso Fino was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Paso Fino for sale in El Dorado Hills, or seeking a Paso Fino from a breeder in El Dorado Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Dorado Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Dorado Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Paso Fino breeders who help with Paso Fino rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Dorado Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
