My story

Please note: The two pictures of Samuel in the kennels were taken while he was still at animal control. The two pictures taken of Samuel in the grass were taken while he was at Stray Haven.

Samuel is a Pit mix. He is 1 year old and weighs around 60 lbs. Samuel was an owner surrender to animal control where he was facing death until he was rescued on March 11, 2013. He gets along well with all other dogs from puppies to adults ranging in size from 10 lbs up to 60 lbs or more. He appreciates human affection and loves being around people. Samuel has been around my neighbor's 7 year old daughter and did very well with her. I'm sure Samuel would do well with children who appreciate and respect animals. He is neutered, up to date with vaccines and heartworm negative. Samuel is being fostered by Stray Haven for another rescue. If you have an interest in adopting Samuel please contact me and I'll put you in touch with the intake rescue for him.
