Oliver's Story...
Hi, my name is Oliver and I am a male tabby with a white belly and paws and a cool white stripe around my neck. I rock! I was found in a neighbor's yard with my siblings and was rescued by my foster mom. I am 7 weeks old and looking for my forever home. I am shy at first but once I get to know you, I'm a love bug. If you want to learn more about me, please contact my foster mom, Donna @ 954.260.9414.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver, a Lighthouse Point Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lighthouse Point, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lighthouse Point.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lighthouse Point already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lighthouse Point breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lighthouse Point paves the way for another one to be saved.
