Thank you for looking at me! I like to meet people...as a matter of fact, my foster family took me for a visit to Bryant University and I was a bit hit there! Everyone loved me, and I loved everyone! My beginnings were not so fortunate....I was in a car accident in Louisiana, and had to have my back leg removed. I function just fine...love to go for walks and to chase around the yard with my foster dog friends. In Louisiana, I was lucky to be taken in by a rescue lady, who cared for me, vetted me and who made sure I was placed on transport to RI. That is where my luck started changing! I am now in a licensed rescue in Rhode Island, waiting and ready for a home. I am only a year old and weigh right around 20 pounds. I am mostly (if not all) mini-Schnauzer....given the right haircut I may look even more like a Schnauzer! As it is, I am happy with my relaxed and casual cut. I would love a home where the family is around in the day, to keep me company. I have already been lonely, and do not want to experience that again. A family with respectful (only) children is fine, as is one with other, non-aggressive dogs. I have been introduced to a cat or two, and basically, if the cat runs, I would like to join in the game! If the cat sniffs me and walks sedately away, I am calm too. My fee of 375. covers all vetting to date, transport to RI, a Health Certificate, an exam by an RI vet, a negative Heartworm test and I have a collar and blanket too.
