Patsy's Story...
A SECURE FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED.
Meet Patsy Cline - A lovely and rare Bi-Black purebred Sheltie. Once you meet her you will go “Crazy” and might “Fall to Pieces”. She is looking for a ‘fur’ever home where she will have “Sweet Dreams” and never have to go “Walkin’ After Midnight” searching for you.
Patsy’s date of birth is 3/19/11 and she weighs 22 lbs. She is a former show dog, and won a blue ribbon in APRI conformation.
Patsy walks well on lead, and is quickly learning housetraining. She is looking for a home with friendly canine playmates and lots of toys. She wants a home without younger children that might frighten her.
Patsy comes when called and loves ear rubs. In fact, she will nuzzle your hand for more ear rubs until your hand tires out!
If you are looking for a very sweet Sheltie girl, who would be an excellent walking partner, and live in a quiet home with other playful dogs, Patsy might be your gal!
Come meet her at one of our adoption events at Petco on 75th & Metcalf, or fill out an adoption application online.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patsy, a Mission Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Mission, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Mission.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission paves the way for another one to be saved.
