My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

There cannot be a dog with a softer coat than Carmichael's....and there is nothing more wonderful in the world than putting your cheek against his fluffy cotton face. At 1.5 - 2 years old and 12 lbs, Carmichael couldn't be a more perfect lap dog. He is a perfect partner for couch-sitting, car riding or just general day to day togetherness. He doesn't have a need for vast amounts of exercise but truly loves those leisurely walks. It's the joy of being outdoors and sharing that time with his adult person (or people) that makes this very devoted pup the happiest. Carmichael was adopted out 4 months ago to a family with 2 ACTIVE children (ages 6 & 7) in a home that was a gathering place for young children and their friends. This stopped working for Carmichael who seems much happier in a quiet and orderly environment without the challenges of loud, shrill voices and poking fingers. We think Carmichael would be perfect for a retired person or couple that has the time and love to give to this deserving guy....and he will return the love a thousand times over. He also loves other dogs and enjoys his time playing, rolling and just hanging out with them. Carmichael is very respectful in the home...he is house trained and wouldn't consider chewing or destroying any possessions. He's past that very babyish behavior. Carmichael is a non-shedding guy and therefore requires periodic grooming to keep his cotton-soft coat healthy and matt-free. Carmichael is being fostered in Fort Collins, CO. He will be available for a meet & greet in Boulder on Saturday 8/3 to find his forever family.

Carmichael's adoption fee of $195 includes a pre-paid private session with our awesome trainer, Gigi Moss. We feel that this will educate both Carmichael and his new family and create an increased bond and positive relationship.
