Oscar's Story...
Hey y'all, my name is Oscar and I'm a Tree Walker Coon Hound....and what is that you say? Well. just consider me a good ol' southern hound dog. Us southerners are pretty laid back and happy all the time! We love kids lots and lots! Me and my brother Tucker was dumped at the pound in a box in the middle of the night. Lucky for us we was put into a foster home right away. We were born on Jan.15, 2013 so we are ready to be your "furever' pup. Please take me home with you!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Foster Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound for sale in Foster, or seeking a Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound breeders who help with Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
