Junior's Story...
My name is Spotty, a 6 year old, black & white short furred guy who is at Kitty Connection along with my friend, Junior, who is also a 6 years old boy, but he’s a striped tabby. We came to KC from our owner who is moving and couldn’t take us with her. We are kinda confused by all this because we love her very much; we slept with her every night and hung out with her everyday. Our world has turned upside down. Now my friend, Junior, has become very nervous. I am more outgoing and friendly and he’s afraid I will get a new home and move without him. We really need to stay together because then he feels safe and I want the best for both of us! If you are looking for a bonded pair of good friends, we are the 2 for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Junior, a Medford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Medford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Medford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medford paves the way for another one to be saved.
