Fantasia is a sweet-heart! She and her late sister were surrendered when their owner lost her place. They were adopted, but then that home had a divorce and they were homeless again. They were fine while they waited because they had each other. But just before Christmas, her sister died after a brief illness and Fantasia has been sad and lonely since.
She has a sweet heart-shaped face, a nice round body, and bunny-soft fur. She loves to snuggle and and she will hold a conversation with you with her sweet chirp. She's very calm and polite, perfect litterbox manners, and doesn't jump on counters. In short - a perfect companion! All she asks is for a lap to snuggle in and space in your bed to sleep with you at night. And no dogs please! She's not too fond of them.
We tried adopting her as an only cat and she was very unhappy. After living her whole life with her late sister, she needs a companion. We introduced her to Duke and they have become great friends and would love to spend the rest of their lives together. She lived in/out in her early life, but picked up FIV so she needs to stay inside only now. FIV does not require any special treatment beyond nutritious food and protection from outside threats. FIV+ cats can and do have a normal life expectancy.
Fantasia and Duke are waiting for their forever home together - do you have room in your home and heart for these delightful seniors?
