Oscar's Story...
Zach was rescued from a kill shelter. We don't know why he was surrendered there but he is amazing, friendly and gorgeous and deserves the best loving home! He may be a little shy at first but he opens up into a mush and a sweetheart who loves to give gentle head bonks and snuggle with his human! He is very big and has green eyes! Very handsome dude!

Update - Zach has been adopted but his adopter's job changed and he has to travel extensively. We are looking for a new home for Zach (renamed Oscar).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Brooklyn Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
