My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Update 08/06/13: Fozzie is finally settled in. He hated his crate but likes to snuggle on my padded kitchen chair which is tucked under the table. He has gained a couple of pounds and looks healthy and happy. His house training is great. He can go all night without an accident and can handle 5 or 6 hours while I'm at work. He loves kids but needs older children since he's actually a little guy at maybe 9.5 pounds.

Update 06/01/2013: Ole Fozzie is doing well on his house training. I only have to belly band him when I'm gone for mare than a couple of hours and he has access to carpeting. He has gained a little weight and looks wonderful now.
I'l be getting him groomed this week so he looks more Yorkie than Schnauzer.
Fozzie does need a yard to run in but a dearth of squirrels and rabbits is recommended. He doesn't nip or become aggressive, He just wants those critters to go away.
Foz-man is on a diet of rice, meatloaf mix with cauliflower and broccoli. He adores Pupperoni. He's also a great snuggle bunny in the morning when I take a short nap.

Update 05/04/13: Great day. Fozzie met the 10 year old neighbor girl and her friend today and was absolutely enthralled with them. They carried him around like a puppy and found out he plays "retrieve and chase me" with a ball.
Both girls loved him and wanted to take him home. So now we know Fozzie likes people of all ages and he's wonderful with kids. Put that with his fondness for other dogs and he's the whole package.

Update 04/28/13: Fozzie is all settled in and doing well. He likes his walks and doesn't make a peep all night until he needs to potty in the morning. He's more or less on Dottie's diet of rice, meatloaf mix and vegetables.
He's ready for a new home. Fozzie likes his guy but is friendly with everyone and other dogs.

Bio Update 04/25/13: I forgot to give everyone Fozzie's vital statistics. He's about 6 years old and weights 8 pounds. He had a check up with my vet today and his fecal was negative. Doc gave him a clean bill of health and said he was a cute little dog.

Fozzie loves riding in the car and was very good about staying in one spot. It could be the Corvette but I think he just likes to travel.

Fozzie also had a great night last night with no diarrhea, that's how we got the samples for the vet.

Bio Update 04/24/13: Fozzie is super cuddly and follows me everywhere. He likes sitting on or next to me. He is gentle and not food aggressive. He and Dottie do well alone while I'm at work.

We're having some trouble at night. He gets into the crate without asking and I leave the door open. He just gets a bit anxious at night and we're looking for a solution.

Fozzie is really great on walks now and he lets me know when he needs to go outside.

Bio Update 04/21/13: Fozzie didn't like sleeping in the crate and whined a bit after a couple hours. So, I let him pick a bed at the foot of the stairs with Dottie and his was an angel the rest of the night.

My grandchildren visited today. They are Logan eleven and Savana seven. Fozzie was excited to see them and very gentle. Savana took him for a walk with me and he did well.

Fozzie has lots of energy but he is very calm after walks and at night. He likes to sit in my lap and snuggled up next to Savana. He's a keeper.

Initial Bio 04/20/13: Fozzie is a yorkie-schnauzer mix and as gentle as a lamb. He was just vetted with a dental and is up to date on his vaccinations. Fozzie is crate trained and walks with a leash well. He is healthy and fast and needs a kid or two to wear him out.

After we get through a couple of nights we'll let you know how he's settling in with Dottie.
