Smitty's Story...

Smitty is a neutered male Toy Poodle, DOB December 14, 2005.

Smitty is a ‘Parti Poodle’, black, grey & white weighing 6 lbs. Smitty is a delicate little boy, he’s lived his entire life as a breeder dog. No one to cuddle him, no toys or comfy bed or to teach him house manners. Smitty has already learned a lot in his foster home, he loves to be petted and cuddled, he has learned to go up and down stairs. Smitty LOVES scampering outside, he never experienced grass under his feet until being in his foster home. If you have ever seen a spring lamb running around a yard, that is Smitty. He kicks up his heels, bounces, runs, truly enjoying himself.

Smitty would do best in a home with another small breed dog, no children under 10 years and a fenced yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Smitty, a Howell Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) for sale in Howell, or seeking a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) breeders who help with Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
