Roadie's Story...
Out in the country, on a cold winter night, Roadie was found wandering without a home in sight. Luckily for Roadie, the Good Samaritan who found him brought him to warmth and gave him shelter. Roadie was well cared for by the kind folks who found him, was given lots of love and affection and always had a full belly.

His caretakers report he is crate trained, housebroken, leash trained, and an all around good pooch. Roadie was a little timid when he first arrived, but he has gained his footing and is feeling more confident. He does well with the other dogs and seems to have gotten along with everyone he has met thus far. If you can lead Roadie down the path to a forever home, come meet him today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roadie, a Smyrna Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Smyrna, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Smyrna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smyrna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smyrna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smyrna paves the way for another one to be saved.
