Romeo's Story...
O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?

Don’t worry, he is safe and sound with us, here at APRA! This fuzzy bundle of cheer is one great boy! He loves frolicking around with his pal, Juliet. They run and play and share their toys together. He is very sweet with people and loves to give them kisses. Being an Australian Shepherd blend, Romeo is going to be a very smart and active boy. He will need a family who wants to go out and do things and is willing to keep him busy and his mind sharp! Romeo doesn’t want any drama in his life, just a family to call his own!

We expect Romeo to be around 40 pounds as an adult.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Smyrna Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Smyrna, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Smyrna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smyrna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smyrna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smyrna paves the way for another one to be saved.
