Stewart's Story...
We know…a Dachshund-Bull Terrier Blend? Stewart was a very lucky boy. A Good Samaritan traveling in Louisiana saw this baby and knew he needed help. His original owner was elderly and not able to care for him any more. The Good Samaritan saw the parents of Stewart. The mother is a pure-bred mini Dachshund that weighs around 12 pounds. The father is a Bull Terrier/Lab mix that weighs around 40 pounds. Despite this odd combination, Stewart is too adorable for words!

He has a stubby build like a Dachshund. He has a beautiful brindle coloration to his soft coat. Some of the most precious things about him is his stubby tail and his fat paws. He is a very happy boy and has been well cared for by the Good Samaritan. They report he is good with dogs and cats. He is still working on his house training and crate training, but what 10 week old puppy isn’t?

Stewart is ready to end his travels and land safely in his forever home. If that is you, don’t wait, come meet this baby today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stewart, a Smyrna Dachshund/Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Bull Terrier for sale in Smyrna, or seeking a Dachshund/Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Smyrna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smyrna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smyrna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Bull Terrier breeders who help with Dachshund/Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smyrna paves the way for another one to be saved.
