Terra Settle's Story...
A note from Terr's Foster Mom (May 24, 2013):
Terra is as perfect as they come! She’s young, but an old soul. She’s discovering what it means to play and carry on, finding what fun is all about! She’s so well behaved, it’s hard to believe she was found on the streets. She has manners around other dogs, children & even around human food! You won’t find Terra jumping on people, and she won’t dig through trash or the yard. She’s not even sure about getting up on furniture, even when invited. Her commando crawling around the living room is a riot! She’s content settled into her bed while she watches what’s going on.

She’s still getting settled in, but it’s obvious that she’s willing to please & very smart, Terra will make a fantastic addition to any home.

April 20, 2013
Terra is a young female red nose pit mix, who was found as a stray in Hazard county, Kentucky. She will graduate from a prison education program, where we are told that she was quite the stellar student, on May 14th and will then be transported to PA. Her information will be updated when she arrives with a Paws n'Time foster home.

Sadly, due to the unfair discrimination this breed receives, many landlords will not allow this breed of dog. While your current landlord might, your next may not. Paws n'Time is focused on placing this dog in a home where the Adopter's will not be faced with the decision of their home or their dog. Thank you for your understanding

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Terra Settle, a Lancaster Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Lancaster, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Lancaster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lancaster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lancaster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lancaster paves the way for another one to be saved.
