Haagen-Dazs's Story...
Meet Haagen-Dazs, a loveable, rather plump young lady looking for a home. This girl loves to be held and is the BEST nuzzler. Perhaps a more suitable first name for her is “Huggin’” instead of Haagen! Her coat is very, very soft and is in a variety of scrumptious shades of brown like a caramel sundae. She is crate-trained and housebroken, walks well on leash and is a great listener. She enjoys being a part of things and is a confident girl. She gets along wonderfully with cats and other dogs and should do well with children. She is a gentle, happy dog. Haagen-Dazs enjoys making new friends. You will be very proud and happy to have her be a part of your family. Haagen-Dazs came to us from a shelter in South Carolina. She is about 2 years old and weighs 13 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all of her shots. She is heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. To meet Haagen-Dazs please complete the adoption application at www.cedarfarmrescue.com . After you have submitted the form please call (336) 251-8877 to set up a time to come meet her. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Haagen-Dazs, a Mocksville Pekingese/Brussels Griffon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese/Brussels Griffon for sale in Mocksville, or seeking a Pekingese/Brussels Griffon dog from a breeder in Mocksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mocksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mocksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese/Brussels Griffon breeders who help with Pekingese/Brussels Griffon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mocksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
