Windsor's Story...
The rescuers of Farfel's have decided that Bichon/Poodle mixes are close to the top of our favorites. This attitude of love for this mix came as a result of our relationship with the amazing Windsor! It is not only his incredible cuteness...which is obvious to all who see him. It's more his outgoing and loving personality. Windsor is a friend to all. You might find him in the yard playing with the kids....or hiking the trails with his family....or playing with his favorite canine friends at the park. Windsor loves all of these activities and approaches them with enthusiasm and very positive energy. Windsor is a dream come true kind of guy for an active family. You couldn't find a more willing companion...and yet when it's time to settle down at the end of the day....Windsor is the first to curl up in a child's lap or hop in and share the bed with anyone who is willing. At 23 lbs and about a year or so old, Windsor has the advantage of his youth and sturdiness to keep up with even the most active humans. We are seeking a special and very loving family for this amazing pup. Windsor is a non-shedder and will require periodic grooming to keep his coat healthy and matt-free.

Windsor will be arriving on transport in Boulder, CO on 5/4. Applications are currently being accepted for this exceptional family companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Windsor, a Boulder Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Boulder, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
