Tinka's Story...
Tinka is a German Shepherd that turned up as a stray, hungry and skinny. She is about 1 yr old, and 55 pounds. She is now spayed, and ready for a forever home! She is playful, and enjoys water and playing with her toys. She like to throw balls and ropes into the air, and she loves other dogs and kids! Tinka knows the commands sit, leave it, and come. She is a very loyal girl and follows you around just to be by you.

Currently located in Livermore. If interested in learning more about Tinka, please call Vivian at 925 989-2243. For an adoption or foster application, please email BigDawgsRescueInfo@gmail.com. The adoption fee for Tinka is $275 and includes her vaccinations and spay surgery.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tinka, a Livermore German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Livermore, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Livermore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Livermore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Livermore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Livermore paves the way for another one to be saved.
