Mrs. Howl's Story...
My name is Mrs Howl. I am a three year old Bichon. I was rescued from a very bad puppy mill. My feet were so splayed from standing on wire that when I was finally off the wire my paw pads bled for over two weeks. I am scared of new things but I am making progress each day. I am beautiful and scared. I will need to go to a home with a very patient woman. A woman who will hold me on her lap. Take me outside for nice walks. Talk gently to me and a woman who lives a quiet and peaceful life. This is what i need to feel safe. Go to to fill out an adoption application for me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mrs. Howl, a South Amboy Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in South Amboy, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in South Amboy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Amboy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Amboy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Amboy paves the way for another one to be saved.
