My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

adoptaBull english bulldog rescue only adopts within our Midwestern radius. Our radius includes Chicago and suburbs, most of Northern Illinois, SW Wisconsin, and NW Indiana. If you fall within our adoption radius and are interested in adopting, please apply on our website: www.adoptabull.org Thank you!

Lucy Lu here! I'm a spunky little gal that made my way into foster care from bad situation. You see - I was being sold on Craigslist! A puppy broker wanted to get rid of me 'cheap' because i had big problems, and they knew it! There was this wonderful angel that saved me! She used money from her college savings to buy me from this bad person! She knew I needed lots of help and that's where adoptaBull came in! I want to give her a BIG shout out, because if it wasn't for her, I shudder to think where I would be.

I'm lovin' my new foster home and these adoptaBull peopIe have already started to fix my legs. My front leg got broken at the mill where I was born but I had bad knees from birth.

I had my first surgery on 7/1/2013 and I am on the mend. The doctors and my foster Dad said "lay low" but are you kidding- I feel great and I kind of want to check out this first new knee!

I do just fine around other dogs and enjoying using my foster brothers and sisters as a pillow (OK I confess I used them as a chew toy too sometimes). I have attended the Chicago English Bulldog Meet-up, and loved being with all those other bulldogs!

A note from the Humans:
Lucy Lu will have extensive medical bills. She is currently in our Medical Program and will not be available for adoption until her orthopedic issues are close to resolution.

We depend on the generosity of our supporters, which enables us to care for and correct Lucy's issues.

You can follow her story and donate to the support of this beautiful little girl at our "Run Lucy Run" Campaign at https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/9XfI3
