Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rico (tiny male dog) and Bailey (grey mid-sized female dog) are Take Me Home courtesy posts. Rico and Bailey are not affiliated with Take Me Home. They are not under our care. Take Me Home is not responsible for any adoptions through private parties. For more information on Rico and Bailey, please contact: Joe and Gabrielle Birkman at 818.253.1356 or 818.309.5245.
Rico and Bailey are a bonded male and female. Rico is a 12 pound terrier. He is very friendly and playful. He enjoys playing with other dogs and with toys.
Bailey is a 30 pound pit mix. She is very gentle and likes to cuddle. She can be shy at first but is very friendly once she gets to know you. Both dogs are house broken, leash trained, sterilized and up-to-date with shots. They are being fostered in a house with a cat, other dogs, and children.
These dogs easily blended with the other creatures. They are both very well behaved. They sit and stay and come when called. These dogs would present a super low maintenance transition into any loving home. We don't know why, but these dogs were dumped in Topanga Canyon and rescued by someone that was unable to keep them. We answered an on-line post to foster the dogs for ten days. One thing lead to another and now we have had the dogs for almost a month. We rent and cannot have 4 dogs. If we owned the property we would keep them without a second thought. We want to help these dogs stay together. They cuddle together quietly all night long.
