My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey, Hey, Hey! My name is Cosby; I’m named after that famous comic and creator of Fat Albert. Something else you should know is that I’m just as much fun to be around. I’m a young (1.5 yo) moderately active male Beagle who recently retired from biomedical research and thinks this new world is the greatest experience ever. I am crate trained and working on my house training. I keep my crate dry during the day and throughout the night. I know my name and walk fairly well on lead. I totally love life and have enjoyed everything (except maybe a long car ride) and everybody I’ve experienced so far. If it’s new, I’ll stop, look, investigate and start wagging my tail from a distance, especially if you’re a new person to meet. Next thing you know, I’m making my way over to find out what it’s all about. For a new person, all I want is for you to let me sit with you while you rub my head, ears and back. I’ll stay cuddled here all day if you let me. I love playing and running and soaking up the sun in the fenced yard at my foster home. You'll hear my beautiful voice during play activities. At the end of the day, I’ll beg to sit in your lap while you read or watch TV until bedtime and then I’ll sleep quietly through the night in my crate. So while I’m happy so far, I know life has so much more to offer in my forever home. Is that with you? I hope so; I can’t wait to meet you.
