Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mercy is an amazing, sweet and beautiful 2 year old pittie that lived through a horrendous experience. Mercy was thrown from a car and in turn hit and dragged by an automobile. She suffered terribly for 2 days before a wonderful women came to her aide in Inglewood. I was alerted to her tragedy and immediately with the help of a rescue team saved her life and got her the medical care she so needed. Mercy was hospitalized for 3 1/2 weeks and underwent an amputation of her back right leg. She also had severe skin injuries from being dragged. It also appears she had a litter of puppies 2 weeks before this accident. No puppies were ever found. THE MIRACLE: Mercy just loves people. She LOVES her walks and will be the best friend ever. She is selective with dogs, and we believe she is trying to protect herself since she is a new tripod. This is the type of rescue that took an army of people to help her, and she has had many angels watching out for her. Mercy weighs 54 pounds. Mercy has been with a trainer for over a month and has excelled in everything. She knows all of her commands and is a favorite of theirs. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Also included is a free health check by our licensed veterinarian a lifetime membership to www.mypettrainer.com, and www.lostmypet.com. The dogs that come out of our program are very well socialized when they leave, both with people, and other dogs. It is up to the new owners to maintain this. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them.
