Joe Cocker's Story...
Meet Joe Cocker, he may be a little scruffy but he is so full of love!! Joe came to us last month as just a wee little puppy. He is now fully vaccinated and ready for adoption at about 15 weeks old. He has a slightly wiry coat, much easier to take care of than the traditional shih-tzu coat of hair. Joe just wants to snuggle up on your shoulder and let you walk around with him. He plays with all the other puppies here, you should see him run-TOO CUTE, so full of energy. You can find our application at www.animalattractiontn.com An adoption fee of $200 is required which goes toward saving another dog in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joe Cocker, a Columbia Shih Tzu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Shih Tzu puppy from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
