Chili's Story...
Hi, my name is Chili, I'm 5 months old and weight around 20 pounds. The best guess is I will grow up to be around 40-50 lbs. I was rescued from the streets in a very poor area of Guatemala with 13 of my friends and siblings. Some mean people almost threw us to the river, but thankfully a lovely family that intervened and took us to a nearby shelter. This shelter provided us with water, food, love, a warm place to stay, they spayed me and gave me all the shots I needed. All of my siblings have been adopted, and I was very lucky because a foster family brought me to Redmond, WA, but I still need a forever home.

Despite my sad story, I'm a very happy dog, a little bit shy at the beginning, but I love to play, go for walks and I'm starting to learn to walk on a leash and some commands like 'sit' and 'stay'.

If you would like to meet me, you will need to fill out an application first. Please email to request one.

My adoption fee is $350 which covers the transportation to Seattle from Guatemala, spaying and vaccines. The shelter that rescued me is registered as 501(c)(3) non-profit. Check it out at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chili, a Redmond German Shepherd Dog/Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Redmond, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Redmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
