I am up to date with shots.
Hello! My name is Lucky. I am a bit of a local celebrity in Northern New Jersey. On April 2, 2013, I was found in a tree on the cliff of the Great Falls in Paterson. I was immediately placed in START II's care after I had my picture take for the local newspapers. Volunteers at START II rushed me to the vet to make sure everything was in working order. I had a few cuts and scrapes, but mostly, I was dehydrated and emaciated. At some point I had an eye infection that caused a cloudy scar to form over my right eye, but I can see out of it. I've been getting the royal treatment the past month - high quality wet food everyday! Although I've put on a little bit of weight, I still have a couple of more pounds to gain. I love people so much, despite everything I've been through. I get really happy when volunteers talk to me. I even roll around on my back! Recently, I was the recipient of the START II Post-Caturday Award for Most Talkative. I like to chat with volunteers, and conversation never gets dull when I'm around! My ideal forever home will spoil me with lots of love and never allow me to get in the precarious situation I was rescued from again.
