I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
My name is Pink and I often feel like a lost soul but the humans at Animatch are trying their hardest to make me feel that I am special. Although I am only three years old, my whole life has been one of a ‘breeder dog’ and it has taken a toll on my psyche. When I first arrived, I was so frightened; my first reaction to humans who approached was to snap. Well the good folks here understood that I needed to take my own sweet time to come to them and were extremely tolerant; I am slowly developing some trust and realize that most humans mean me no harm. Nowadays, I will wag my tail and make eye contact but when people get close, my first instinct is still to hunker down, expecting the worst. I’m not a dog for everyone but I am a dog for a very special person who will see the potential in me. Exposure to new experiences will open up my world. I am constantly surrounded by other dogs and I’m perfectly fine with that. In fact, I really need to have another sociable, well-behaved dog in the family to keep me company and to help me learn good and normal behaviors. Those humans that have taken the time to know me say that I am a precious and humble girl and that I have a very sweet and innocent soul. All agree that I’m a little sweetheart, so I guarantee I will be worth the time and patience! Older kids only please, as I need a quiet place to continue to build my confidence. I will need help with toilet training since no one has properly taught me how that works. I need someone who will promise to take care of me for the rest of my life. My promise to you is that I will be at your side forever trying my best dog I can be. Please fill in the Adoption Form if you would like to adopt me.
