Serena's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Serena's Story...
Serena is a sweet tuxedo who is both adorable in looks and charming in personality. She LOVES to play. Usually with a stringy toy that you can make her run, jump and twirl with. And toy mice! She does best one on one. Serena likes a lot of attention and enjoys curling up close to you on a comfy couch or in bed. She has been waiting a very long time for her forever home. She is 2 years young as of May 2014 Serena would be much happier in a forever home that would cater to her rather than sharing with other cat residents. She does like to play with friendly doggie buddies as we have discovered in her new foster home. We all love Serena and want to see her in her forever home in 2014! Maybe she is the cat for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Serena, a Raritan Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Raritan, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Raritan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Raritan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Raritan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Raritan paves the way for another one to be saved.
