Tic's Story...

Tic is an active dog he enjoys the outdoor life and would make a great hunting dog if properly trained. But he is quite the couch potato too.

He is a protective dog and would do great in a home without a lot of traffic, he is loving and gentle with his family and is very obedient.

Tic walks on lead, sits, stays and has great recall as well as being house trained / crate trained. He gets along well with cats, dogs and loves kids , however does not do well with farm animals

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tic, a Hilham Mountain Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mountain Cur for sale in Hilham, or seeking a Mountain Cur dog from a breeder in Hilham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hilham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hilham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mountain Cur breeders who help with Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hilham paves the way for another one to be saved.
