SpongeBob's Story...
Spongebob was left at our foster home by another rescue, who never came back for him. He is good with other cats and dogs (sleeps with the dogs) but really enjoys time with his humans. Before bed Spongebob will "comfort nurse" on your t-shirt or PJs - he kneads on you while trying to suck on your shirt. He is always there when we go to bed, and when we wake-up. A nice male kitty, around 5 years old. Spongebob was already neutered and tested negative for FeLV/FIV by the previous rescue, we will provide date and documentation for his current vaccine. Nominal adoption donation for Spongebob, full refund within1 month if he does not work out in your home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SpongeBob, a Mesa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
