Hennessy's Story...
Handsome Hennessy and his sister, beautiful Bizzou, were abandoned around Easter on the streets of Trenton. A good samaritan noticed the sweet kittens and reached out to us for help. Not surprisingly, they were both very skinny and hungry when they came in yet they were both super loving and friendly. They seem to like dogs and other cats. We believe they are around 6 months old, as of April 2013. We'd prefer to adopt them as a pair.

Most Trenton Cats Rescue cats are either in foster homes or the Petsmart in South Brunswick. If you are interested in Hennessy, please email for more information. To fill out our screening form for Hennessy, visit: ADOPTION SCREENING FORM

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hennessy, a West Trenton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in West Trenton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in West Trenton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Trenton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Trenton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Trenton paves the way for another one to be saved.
