Diesel's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Diesel's Story...

Diesel is a 4 year old Grey/Blue Pit Bull Terrier, he weighs approximately 70+ lbs. Diesel is sweet and rambunctious; he is people friendly, kid friendly (preferably 8+) and gets along with selective dogs, but prefers to be the only dog.  He likes to play in the kiddie pool during the hot days and chase lizards and squirrels. He knows some commands, sit and down and he rolls over and spins for treats. He is very loving and craves attention; he will follow you everywhere and lay at your feet. He loves to play with rope and tug of war is his favorite game, he wins most of the time. Diesel is very responsive on the walk and does not pull on the leash but needs correction from time to time; he is very smart so with time we are sure he will be perfect on walks. Diesel enjoys playing with is rope and tossing it into the air himself and running figure 8’s at full speed. He is potty trained, and loves to hang out and relax at nighttime. Diesel will benefit greatly from continued positive socialization with other dogs and people. He would do best in a family that is committed to his training, active and enjoys the outdoors.

About I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
