SNOOKIE's Story...
Please contact Marta (anydogrescue@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet.

SNOOKIE;4 yr old Corgi Chi hua;(mystery mix); 12 lbs

She was rescued from the SF shelter....; She is a lap dog and a snuggle-bug but not clingy, she can be alone,  independent if someone needs to go to work...She's quiet, non-destructive, doesn't have separation anxiety, she will curl up and take naps until you come home. She's a little timid and tends not to trust men, a female owner would be ideal. Shes great w/kjids but not great with cats!; She's good with dogs but can be bossy...either a home with other dogs or no dogs would work,; She is not a high energy dog, mellow,  and a little stubborn! So she will need some patience, tolerance and a supportive environment!.
WE adore her and are waiting for the best possible home for her!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SNOOKIE, a Antioch Corgi/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Chihuahua for sale in Antioch, or seeking a Corgi/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Antioch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Antioch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Antioch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Chihuahua breeders who help with Corgi/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Antioch paves the way for another one to be saved.
