Claire's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Claire's Story...
Clayton and Claire are a bonded pair of 2-3 year old bassets who seem to have spent their whole lives together. They are not happy unless they can at least see each other, and prefer to be side-by-side. So far they are getting along great with their foster dogs and cats, and love the children. They are such a handsome looking couple, and do not seem to have any bad habits. They will stay in foster care for 2 weeks so that they can gain some weight and recover from being spayed and neutered. Get your application in today, we don't get pairs like this too often.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Claire, a Phoenix Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
