Sir WagsAlot AKA Harold's Story...
Handsome little Harold was dumped at the shelter when his owner was cited for backyard breeding. He is very loving and affectionate, and always ready to smother you with kisses. He gets very excited when you come home, or at feeding time, and does a little 'song and dance'. He loves everyone, shows no aggression, and gets along with other dogs and cats. He loves to play and cuddle with his sister, Maude. Harold is 2-3 years old and weighs just 5lbs. Because of his size, he is not appropriate for families with small kids.He was dumped at the shelter a day after his sister. Harold and Maude are very bonded and should to be adopted together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sir WagsAlot AKA Harold, a Encino Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Encino, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
