My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Foxy Roxie and I'm a 5 year old English bulldog.

I was used for breeding before and I had at least 2 litters of puppies. My previous owners didn't have time for me any more so I came to stay with my awesome foster family until I find my forever home

This is what my foster mom says about me:
- favorite activities include (but are not limited to): sleeping, being the boss, getting your attention, laying on her dog bed, laying on the couch (even though she knows shes not allowed), chewing on chew toys, exploring the house, looking outside and barking at the people and animals, playing (when she feels like it), cuddling, car rides, being petted/scratched, getting any kind of attention, chewing on her stuffed animals, taking naps and getting treats.

- she does not like: loud noises that scare her, dominant dogs and being alone.

She is pretty laid back and if you let her, would just sleep on the couch all day long. When she does get up on the couch, she doesnt like to get down! She would do best in a home that does not already have a dominant dog. Not sure about cats.

She needs an owner who will be in charge so she can learn boundaries and manners. She will push the boundaries if you let her because thats how its been for the last 5 years.
does walk with a limp from an injury when she was younger but it does not bother her now and she runs and plays like nothing is wrong. Roxie has a strong loud bark but her bark is definitely worse than her bite. Strangers come in the house and she runs away.

She loves being around her owner she will follow you anywhere (unless she is on the couch). She gets a little upset when we have to leave for work I can hear her crying sometimes.
is crate trained, however does not like being in the crate. This may be because her previous owners left her in there for extended periods of time. After 5-10 minutes in the crate she does calm down and there are no further problems.

Will make a great pet for someone who doesnt mind cuddling with a 50lb lap dog! You shouldnt be bothered by her un-lady like manner - she drools, burps, snores, farts and snorts at times. She does need her wrinkles and tail pocket cleaned out on a regular basis as well as a good brushing to help decrease the shedding.

All adopters must live in Ohio, or within a 2 hour driving distance of the border.
Her adoption donation is $400
We can not adopt to families with children under the age of 8 years.
