Hi, my name is Tom Selleck -- yeah, like the actor. I came to my foster parents' house really scared because I had never been in a home before, but man do I love it now! I LOVE to cuddle day or night and am full of beans all day. I like to have conversations with my foster parents, meaning I am pretty vocal. My foster mom has a dog and cats and I absolutely love them, especially the dog. At night if I am not cuddling with my foster parents, I am sleeping with their bulldog in the dog bed, where we love to cuddle. I am extremely playful but really gentle and LOVE to play with toys, pouncing in the air like deer he he. I know how to use my litter box perfectly and am well behaved when my foster parents are away. My foster mom says I am going to make an amazing addition to a forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tom Selleck, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
