Oscar's Story...
Meet Oscar, the little guy with the big personality! He is an 8# Chihuahua who loves to romp & play or snuggle up tight. He gets along well with his foster dog siblings ranging from 13# to 114#, both male & female. He's been good with the cats as well. He has not been around kids in the foster home but one can't imagine he wouldn't like gentle kids who don't pull on his ears, which are very sensitive. He has done well with house training and his foster parents believe he must have been someone's pet at one time. He loves & craves human affection! Oscar is believed to be around 1 yr old, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He will be at most Henderson adoption events if you would like to meet him in person! There is an adoption fee for Oscar. Contact his foster parents Chris or Stephanie at 702-540-2018 or 702-540-9834. Please leave a message if they are unable to take your call & they will call you back within that day.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Las Vegas Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
