Rufus's Story...
Ok, so honesty is the best policy so let me be upfront and tell you that I need to be the only dog. See in my short two years of life, my first owners never socialized me and didn't take great care of me so I wasn't taught how to share and play nice in the playground. However, I am the biggest snuggle puppy on the earth with my humans. I love to play tug of war, swim, gnaw on some bones and ball ball! I am 100% house trained and crate trained but I would prefer to spend the day at your side on a comfy couch. Cats totally freak me out and so do the small humans because I don't know my own strength and don't want to hurt either one of them on accident. I am sure with time and patience, I could learn how but right now I would prefer a home without small children. My pictures don't do me justice, I am so incredibly cute that I get a ton of stares and lots of people want to pet me. My foster mommy Emily says I give the best kisses in the world. If you want some, please call her at 702-588-2301 and tell her you just read my honesty bio and don't mind providing me a dog free, cat free and little human free home!.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rufus, a Las Vegas American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
