Bianca's Story...
We just brought a lovely girl named Bianca into Lone Star Lab Rescue. As far as we can tell, she is practically the PERFECT Labrador! Bianca is only about 1 1/2 years old and is a nice size at 71 pounds. It is amazing that she is so calm, sweet and laid back... very unusual for such a young Lab. Bianca is spending her first night in her foster home and getting to know her new foster sisters. She will be available for adoption the first week of May.

If you are interested in providing a loving, forever home for Bianca, please complete our Adoption Application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bianca, a Coppell Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Coppell, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Coppell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coppell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coppell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coppell paves the way for another one to be saved.
