Hello People,
We are Andy and Fergie - a delightful pair of fur kids! We are good friends, with lots of personality and love to share - two happy little Maltese who enjoy being with people of all sizes and shapes!
Although I am only a few minutes older, I’m Andy and I’m the big brother so I want to tell you about us – and I want to start with Fergie. She is a very loving and joyful little girl who makes her presence felt - but does so quietly. She is a major snuggle bug and is very mellow. Fergie has a favorite toy she likes to play fetch with, Why she even carries it outside with her. (I don’t quite understand why she loves that toy so much – she just does. I, on the other hand, prefer to lay on the sofa and watch her.) Above all, Fergie is sweet and gentle.
I, on the other hand, am the showman. I’m the first one to race to the door to greet people,
stand on my hind legs with my front paws scooping the air (I usually get a pat this way!), and I’m also the first one to run to watch TV. I LOVE Animal Planet – and animals on any TV program! And I am also very good at napping!
Both Fergie and I are strong, content, in good health, love to go for rides and, especially, love to go on walks (the more, the merrier.) Both of us love to give and receive affection. We don’t think there is anything in the world better than a tummy or back rub – unless it is maybe to cuddle and snuggle! At night all it takes to get us into bed is to say “Let's go night night!” and we go into our crates to sleep.
We were well cared for and loved by our Mom for the past eight years. We are very happy, smile a lot, occasionally bark at other dogs we don’t know (however we are not barkers.!) We get excited when we see a rabbits or other small animals on our walks - as we’re sure they are there to play with us.
Two months ago our mom died. Our foster mom and dad and doggy foster brothers have been wonderful to us – and helped us to not be sad - however it is time for us to find our Forever Family. Mom says we need someone who can give us attention and love - and in return we’ll provide warmth, cuddles, smiles and laughter. Oh! And she says we also provide entertainment! Dad says we are affectionate, dedicated, and loyal- and that we balance each other wonderfully.
