Archi has mellowed and grown up a lot lately!  He is becoming a very nice, well mannered little Chihuahua boy who would make a great addition to a small dog home or even a large dog who likes small dogs!   He isnt a small child person but a single mid sized child might be ok.........

******************************************

This tiny little outlaw has really matured and is finally able to sit with people and just hang out but still loves to play and wrestle........he would be ideal in a tiny dog home with other tiny dogs that love to rough and tumble.

Archibald, named after a famous Missouri Outlaw!  He is 4.3 lbs with a bit of growing to do and lots of weight to gain, too skinny!!  This little fella just showed up at a ladies house and while she kept him safe till we were notified, she could not give him a safe life.  Archi is playful and silly and so animated...........tiny little guy with a huge heart and great outlook on life!!  He is not a year old for sure, but at least 7 months..........he is very, very wiggly and pics are very hard to get..........will keep trying :)  Archi is eligible for a kitty buddy!

About Ozark Haven Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are small group of individuals in Southern Missouri dedicated to the rehabilitation of homeless animals. We help all creatures, promote kindness to animals, respect for the earth and hope to launch a campaign in the next rescue year to combat the pet overpopulation problem in Southern Missouri.
The attitude towards animals here is not a good one; they are viewed and treated, mostly, as chattel. When they are no longer cute, or useful, they are dumped, shot, or just let go. We serve poor, rural communities, whose people do not have the money to pay for their own medical care, let alone veterinary expenses for their pets. Spaying and neutering is not the norm here at all, so we have a huge population of unwanted dogs and cats.

Our Adoption Process...

We do have an adoption process requiring an application. We do require our adoptive homes have strong and verifiable spay/neuter histories that we are able to confirm via our Application Processing team. We will not tolerate or entertain unaltered pets. We are available to answer any questions at all by way of email at Kristinawak@yahoo.com or Ozarksummer@yahoo.com

More criteria for adoption can be viewed at www.petfinder.com/shelters/MO401.html and an online submission application for adoption can be found at this url; http://members.petfinder.org/~MO207/app.htm
