Zoro_Courtesy Listing's Story...
*Experienced Adopter Needed* *Courtesy Post* Posted 5/2/13.

Zoro is a handsome, 9 1/2 year old Shih-Tzu / Poodle mix, about 10 lbs, who has been loved and cherished his entire life. He was adopted at 8 weeks old and grew up in a caring home with children and a main coon cat. Unfortunately, sometimes events cause hardship that ends in heartbreak. After these 9 1/2 years, his family was forced to change living arrangements and Zoro was not permitted to go with his human mommy who loves him more than anything.

Now Zoro is looking for a new home. The "catch" is, however, Zoro does not immediately take to new people and in recent trials, it has been discovered that he needs his space to adjust before being handled. If handled too soon, he will bite. He also likes to guard his toys at times or from certain people.

After Zoro adjusts, he seems to be ok....but during the period of adjustment, an experienced adopter is required.

Once Zoro decides to trust, he is a sweet, loving boy, always wagging his tail and babysitting a stuffing-free furry toy. He is currently in a temporary home with about 10 other dogs and he gets along well with all of them (no growling, no nipping, nothing). He is also perfectly loving to his temporary caretaker and he just met her.

Zoro's mom is BEGGING and PLEADING for someone to PLEASE love her boy!!! She does not even want to think of the alternative to him not finding a home after she has loved him for so long and he has given his loyalty and obedience to her! He deserves a chance to continue to be loved despite the economic conditions his family is forced to endure!!

If you are an experienced adopter and have the patience to wait for Zoro's love and trust... PLEASE contact his mommy Lynne, at lmdaus@gmail.com or 440-488-7893.

ZORO CANNOT STAY IN HIS TEMPORARY HOME FOR LONG!!! PLEASE HELP!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoro_Courtesy Listing, a Cleveland Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
