My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 5/5/2013 Peanut is an adorable 2 year old Yorkshire Terrier and weighs 6.5lbs although he should be weighing a healthy 7 to 7.5lbs. Peanut is an absolute joy. He's a happy boy that loves people. He also likes other dogs and doesn't mind cats. He's crate trained & is working on his potty training. He's only had a couple of accidents but since he was not previously neutered he was marking the walls. He is now neutered and fully vaccinated. We hope that his marking habits will subside very soon. Peanut enjoys going for walks & does well on leash. He loves to run around outside so a home with a fenced in yard will be ideal for him. Peanut does have a sensitive tummy so he may only be fed his kibble and same treats. Changing his diet frequently may upset his tummy; as well as going for car rides shortly after eating. Peanut gets a long well with children, however, we do not recommend that he be adopted to a home with children under the age of 12 due to his small size. A family with older, mature children will be considered.

INITIAL BIO 4/30/2013 Peanut just came in to our rescue & is being fostered in Miami, FL. We know he's a young boy & weighs 6 lbs but should be closer to 7lbs. Peanut will be fully vetted & neutered later this week. We will be able to confirm his age at that time. Although he's only been in FM's home a very short time, we can say that he has been an absolute joy. He's a happy boy that loves people, dogs & cats. He's crate trained & has only had 1 accident in the home. He does mark though but we are hopeful that will stop once he's neutered. He likes to go for walks & does well on leash. He loves to run around outside so a home with a fenced in yard will be ideal for him. Although he gets a long well with children, we do not recommend that he be adopted to a home with children under the age of 12 due to his small size. A family with older, mature children will be considered. FM will make sure that Peanut posts an update after his dogtor's appointment later this week to let you all know how he's doing. Stay tuned!
