Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We pulled beautiful Carmen from a high kill shelter in north Georgia after she was dumped, pregnant at the shelter. She delivered her pups 7 weeks ago in foster care and was a good mom, her first (and only!) litter! She's had enough of motherhood and now wants to get on with her own life! She's still a kid herself at 2 years old and ready to party! True to her border collie breed, Carmen is high energy and she needs daily exercise and mental stimulation. Her foster mom in Georgia is also her trainer so she has been working on perfecting her basic skills. She comes to her name, she walks well on the leash, has learned o keep her feet off the counter tops and is house trained. She is cautious and respectable of cats too and was on the foster farm with horses as well. Carmen gets along well with other dogs and loves to play play play! She is very active and likes to keep moving! Her ideal adopter would be able to wear her out! She is still on the thin side after puppies so be prepared to fatten her up! She is good in the bath tub and very good in the car. She has an appetite for hard shelled bugs (?) maybe that's her time on the streets showing through! But she thrived in foster care, delivered 7 healthy pups and is ready to be pampered and loved on herself! Carmen is crate trained, spayed, current on all vaccines and micro-chipped.
