Zona's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Zona's Story...
Zona is a one-year old siberian husky mix, rescued from a very high kill, gas-chamber as "last call."  This girl is so sweet and playful; she would make a family a great companion.  Typical of the sibe breed, however, Zona prefers a home without cats and very small dogs.  She is good with dogs her size and even ones a bit smaller. She is also good with kids, although she would probably not be best suited for a family with very young children (under 10) because she is high-energy.  She is fully vetted, and her adoption fee is $150. If you are interested in adopting Zona, please contact her foster mom, Brandy, at bjames@estga.edu. As the first step in the adoption process, potential adopters are also asked to visit our website, www.hickorylevelhoundrescue.com, and complete the adoption application.

Our Adoption Process...

Each dog has an individual adoption fee based on the amount and what type of vet care they receive to get them healthy and adoptable. Each potential adopter is subject to questioning so that the particular dog an be matched properly. Each dog has individual home requirements. Many of our foster dogs are with their respective foster families for some time before a good match can be made. Most of them are already house broken and have some obedience training before they leave.
